  • Notes
    • Geoffrey lived in Sawbridgeworth. It is recorded that on 17 Aug. 1394 he was
to go into Ireland in the King's service. There are also records of many
charters that were witnessed by Geoffrey. His brother, Thomas, died sometime
between 1407 and 1412 and the family estate of Hide Hall was bequethed to
Geoffrey. Hide Hall was a very large manor house in Sawbridgeworth, passed
down through the estate of his ancestors.
