- John Adam (or Johann) Weidenhamer, one of the sons of Johannes, the emigrant, came with the family from Germany and lived in Maidencreek township., Berks county, where he followed farming. He married Elizabeth Danker, and to them were born children as follows: Jacob; Benjamin, who moved to Ohio, where he died; George, who died in Maidencreek township, Berks county; John; Susanna, Mrs. Daniel Kauffman, whose children were Mrs. Charles Hottenstein, Mrs. Peter Dunkle and Mrs. Jacob Hoffman; Maria, Mrs. Daniel Althouse; Sarah, who died unmarried and Betsy, Mrs. Williams.
