Abraham Redcay was born January 23rd, 1847. He lived with his family at 227 Park Avenue, in Milton, PA. He was a moulder and was the foreman of the foundry department of the American Car and Foundry Co. in Milton, PA. The company makes railroad cars, primarily tank and hopper cars. He served during the Civil War as a private in Company B, 210th Pennsylvania Volunteers, for 9 months. He married Susannah Gold of Plainfield Twp., Northampton Co., PA. He died in 1931, and is buried at the Milton Cemetery. This picture was taken about 1911. He is shown with his granddaughters, Grace Leslie Hill and Hazel Elizabeth Hill.
