- This indenture made the seventeenth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and forty six between Michael Reisch of Lockport in the county of Niagara & state of New York and Elizabeth his wife of the first part and Henry Hill of the same place of the second part.
Witnesseth that the said party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of three thousand five hundred and ninety seven dollars twenty cents lawful money of the United States of America to them in hand paid at or before the ensealing of these presents by the said party of the second part the whereof is hereby acknowledged and the said party of the second his heirs executors and administrators forever released and discharged from the same by these presents have granted bargained sold aliened released conveyed and confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien release convey and confirm unto the said party of the second part and to his heirs and assigns forever.
All that tract or parcel of land situate in the town of Lockport in the county of Niagara and in the state of New York being the south part of lot number fifty seven and the northwest part of lot number fifty six in the fourteenth township and seventh range of the Holland Land Company lands so called, bounded as follows: Beginning on the east line of said lot number fifty seven at a point forty nine chains ten links south from the northeast corner thereof then west parallel with the north line of said lot and bounding on land occupied by William Wilkins & others.
NOTE: There is a second deed for this same property, dated 8/29/1855, which conveys it from Elias M. Moyer to Henry's wife, Mary.

- THIS INDENTURE, made the twenty eighth day of April in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty six between Mary Hill and Henry B. Hill her husband of the village of Lockport in the County of Niagara and the state of New York of the first part, and George Harvey as President of the Farmers Bank of Washington County, NY an association organized under the act of the signature of the State of New York entitled "an act to authorize the business of banking" passed April 18, 1858, of the second part.
WITNESSETH, that the said parties of the first part, in consideration of the sum of two thousand one hundred dollars to them duly paid, by these presents do GRANT AND CONVEY to the said party of the second part, its successors and assigns, ALL that tract or parcel of land situate in the town of Lockport, County of Niagara & State of New York.
Being the South part of Lot number fifty seven and Northwest part of Lot number fifty six in the Fourteenth Township and Seventh Range of the Holland Land Company's land so-called, bounded as follows:
Beginning in the East line of said Lot number fifty seven, at a point forty nine chains and two links south of the Northeast corner thereof; thence running West parallel with the North line of said Lot number fifty seven and bounding on land conveyed by the Holland Land Company to Robert Hawley fifty eight chains and twenty four links to the west line of said Lot, thence south bounding on Lots 68 & 67, nineteen chains and ninety one links to a post 8 chains 68 links South from the northwest corner of said lot number fifty six, thence east parallel with the North line of said lot fifty six, twenty eight chains ninety five links, thence north parallel with the East line of said lot eight chains sixty eight links to the North line of said lot fifty six; thence east along the North line said lot fifty six, twenty nine chains five links to the place of beginning. Containing eighty nine and ninety three hundredths acres, be the same more or less, according to the diagram in the margin hereof.
Together with all and singular the tenements, hereditaments and appurtenances thereunto belonging, or in any way appertaining.
This grant is intended as a security for the payment of the sum of two thousand one hundred dollars in five years from the date hereof, with interest thereon at the rate of seven percent per annum, as the same shall accrue, on the first days of June and December in each year; or in case any installment of principal or interest shall be in arrear and unpaid for the space of thirty days after the same shall become due and payable, or if the said Banking Association shall at any time refuse or neglect to redeem their circulating notes on demand, then the whole principal sum unpaid, together with the interest that shall have accrued thereon, shall forthwith thereafter become due and payable, at the option of the party of the second part, its successors and assigns, according to the condition of a certain bond this day executed and delivered by the said Mary Hill and Henry B. Hill to the said party of the second part; and this conveyance shall be void if such payment be made as herein specified. In case default shall be made in the payment of the principal sum hereby intended to be secured, as in the payment of the interest thereof, or any part of such principal or interest as shown provided, it shall be lawful for the party of the second part, its successors and assigns, at any time thereafter, to sell the premises hereby granted, or any part thereof, in the manner prescribed by law; and out of the monies arising from such sale, to retain the amount then due for principal and interest, and also the amount to become due, together with the costs and charges of making such sale. And the surplus, if any there be, shall be paid by the party making such sale on demand to the said Mary Hill, her heirs and assigns.

This indenture, made the sixteenth day of June in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and fifty-six between Henry B. Hill & Mary Hill his wife of the town of Lockport in the County of Niagara & state of NY of the first part, and Elias M. Moyer of the same place.
Witnesseth, that the said parties of the first part, in consideration of the sum of three hundred and thirteen dollars, by these presents do grant and convey to the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, all that tract or parcel of land situate in the town of Lockport, being the south part of Lot number (57) fifty seven & the north west part of Lot number fifty six, Township 14, Range seven of the Holland Land Company land (so-called), Bounded as follows, Beginning at the East line of said lot No. 57 at a point 49 chains and ten links South from the North East corner thereof and running thence West parallel with the North line of said lot and bounding on land conveyed by Wilhem Millink and others to Robert Hawley 58 chains 24 links; thence South bounding on Lots Nos. 68 and 67, nineteen chains & 91 links to a post 8 chains and 68 links South from the North West corner of said Lot No. 56. Thence east parallel with the North line of said lot number 56, 88 chains & 68 links distant South therefrom 28 chains 95 links; thence North parallel with the East line of said Lot, at the distance of 29 chains West therefrom 8 chains 68 links; then east along the North line of said Lot 29 chains; thence North along the East line of said Lot No. 57 - eleven chains & five links to the place of beginning, containing eighty nine acres & 93/100 of an acre be the same more or less.
This grant is intended as a security for the payment of the sum of Three Hundred and thirteen dollars and interest as follows: the said principal sum in one year from the date hereof with interest thereon payable semi-annually on the 16th days of December and June. According to the condition of a certain Bond this day executed and delivered by the said Mary Hill to the said party of the second part; and this conveyance shall be void, if such payment be made as herein specified. And in case default shall be made in the payment of the principal sum hereby intended to be secured, or in the payment of interest thereof, or any part of such principal or interest, as above provided, it shall be lawful for the party of the second part, his executors, administrators and assigns, at any time thereafter, to sell the premises hereby granted or any part thereof, in the manner prescribed by law; and out of the monies arising from such sale, to retain the amount then due for principal and interest, and also the amount to become due, together with the Costs and Charges of making such Sale. And the surplus, if any there be, shall be paid by the party making such Sale, on demand, to the said Mary Hill her heirs and assigns.

WITNESSETH that the said party of the first part in consideration of the sum of six thousand dollars to them in hand duly paid have granted and conveyed, and by these presents do grant and convey to the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, all that certain piece of land situate, lying and being in the town of Lockport in the County of Niagara and State of New York, and being the south part of Lot number fifty seven and the northwest part of Lot number fifty six in the fourteenth Township and seventh range of the Holland Land Company's land, Bounded as follows:
Beginning at the east line of said Lot number fifty seven, forty nine chains and two links south of the northeast corner thereof, Thence west parallel with the north line of said lot and bounding on land conveyed by Wilhem Millenk and others to Robert Hawley, fifty eight chains twenty four links, Thence south bounding on lots number sixty eight and sixty seven, nineteen chains and twenty one links to a post eight chains and sixty eight links south from the north west corner of said Lot number fifty six. Thence east parallel with the north line of said lot number fifty six and eight chains and sixty eight links distant south therefrom, twenty eight chains and ninety five links, Thence north parallel with the east line of said Lot number fifty seven At the distance of twenty nine chains west therefrom, eight chains and sixty eight links, Thence east along the north line of said lot twenty nine chains, thence north along the east line of said Lot number fifty seven, eleven chains and five links to the place of beginning, Containing eighty nine acres and ninety three hundredths of an acre, be the same more or less.
This conveyance is made and delivered subject to the payment of the sum of two thousand one hundred dollars upon a mortgage executed by said party of the first part to George Harvey as President of the Farmers Bank of Washington County, bearing date the twenty eighth day of April one thousand eight hundred and fifty six and recorded in the office of the Clerk of the County of Niagara in Book 63 of mortgages at page one hundred forty three, which said party of the second part is to pay as part of the consideration hereof and also subject to the right of harvest and take away in the straw of Clinton Heath, one half of the winter wheat now growing upon said land.
With the appurtenances; and all the estate, title, and interest therein, of the party of the first part. And the said party of the first part does hereby convey, and agree to and with the party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, that the premises above conveyed, in the quiet and peaceable possession of the said party of the second part, his heirs and assigns, that the said party of the first part, their heirs and personal representatives, will forever WARRANT AND DEFEND, against all persons whomsoever, lawfully claiming the same or any part thereof. Except by, through or under said mortgage.
